On the official page for the anime adaptation of the light novels Otome Game no Hametsu Flag Shika Nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei Shiteshimatta (Hamefura: My next life as a villain: all roads lead to ruin!), the cover and details of the fourth compilation of the project’s Blu-ray package were revealed.
This package is due to be released in Japan on December 1st and includes the ninth to twelfth episodes of this second season at a price of 8,580 yen (approx. 82 US dollars). The benefits include a CD with original songs, a priority pass for a live event in April 2022, a brochure with an original novel written by himself. Satoru Yamaguchi and a manga by Nami Hidaka, and audio commentary from the screen reader.
The second season, officially titled as Otome Game no Hametsu Flag Shika Nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei Shiteshimatta… X (Hamefura X), which aired during the summer season 2021 (July-September) and had twelve episodes Crispy roll responsible for sales in the west and kept the same production team from the first season. On the other hand, the first season premiered in Japan in April 2020 and had a total of twelve episodes.

- Keisuke Inoue (Midara na Ao-chan wa Benkyou ga Dekinai) was responsible for directing the second season of the project in the studios SILVER LINK.
- Megumi Shimizu (Butler: Chitose Momotose Monogatari, King’s Raid: Ishi wo Tsugumono-tachi) was responsible for writing and maintaining the scripts in the second season.
- Miwa ooshima (Baka to Shoukanjuu for testing, Chou Henshin Cosprayer, Gugur! Kokkuri-san) was responsible for character design in season two.
Summary of Hamefura
After Duke Claes’ daughter Katarina hit herself particularly hard on the head one day, she found all the memories of her past life – that of a Japanese teenage girl. Right before her untimely death, this girl remembers playing a game of otome … and it’s just like the world she lives in now! She is now Katarina Claes, the antagonist from the Otome game who bullied the protagonist until the very end. Knowing all the possible outcomes of the game, he realizes that all possible roads end in the murder or exile of Katarina. To avoid this disastrous ending, he will need to use his knowledge of the game and his own tricks, starting with breaking off the engagement to the prince.
