Summary of SSSS.DYNAZENON
One day after school, freshman Yomogi Asanaka meets a starving man under a bridge. The strange wanderer introduces himself as Gauma and informs Yomogi that he is a “kaiju user”, a person who deals with “kaiju”, monsters that cause harm to the city and its citizens. The following night, Yomogi meets Gauma and his classmate, Yume Minami. At the same time, a kaiju appears in a populated area of the city.
Due to Gauma’s inexperience in controlling the kaiju, he pulls a mysterious object out of a glowing bag and summons a giant robot named Dynazenon. The mecha, requiring the collaboration of four people, pulls Gauma, Yomogi, Minami and Koyomi Yamanaka, an unemployed man walking around the street, into his cabin. His encounter with the kaiju marks the beginning of his entanglement with kaiju eugenists (kaiju users who manipulate kaiju with malicious intent) and his endeavors to unleash Dynazenon’s full potential.
