Yu-Gi-Oh is one of the most important anime of the last few decades. From the work of Kazuki Takahashi, a card game of the same name was then drawn and published by Konami, which quickly became one of the most famous in the world, rivaling those of PokΓ©mon and Magic the Gathering. Konami actually shared the news for you Antoine Griezmann is officially the series’ global ambassador. The world-famous footballer, who is currently playing in the 2020 European Football Championship with France but usually wears the Barcelona shirt, is a fan of the Yu-Gi-Oh anime and has happily accepted this role that takes him back to his childhood.

Griezmann was also invited to Japan by Konami and appears to have been given special cards, and on that occasion, the company discussed the possibility of making the footballer the series ambassador. The anime is still one of the most popular series today and overall Yu-Gi-Oh has surpassed the 1000 episodes broadcast in the various seasons.
