In a recent leak by Yonkou Productions, a well-known Twitter user who is usually correct in his leaks, it was announced that an anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Tatsuki Fujimoto, Fire punch, will be adapted to anime. This information has not been confirmed.

Fujimoto started publishing the manga in the app Shonen Jump Plus from the publisher Shueisha in April 2016 and completed it in January 2018, with a total of eight compilation volumes, with the last one published in January 2018.

Fujimoto is also the author of the manga Chainsaw man, which in a recent leak informed that it will be adapted to the anime, however, this information has not been confirmed yet. This work is in publication in the magazine Weekly Shonen Jump from the publisher Shueisha.
