On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga, written and illustrated by Hiro Mashima, Eden zeroa new promotional image for the second season of the project was released. The press release confirmed that the premiere is planned for 2023 in Japan.but the project's new director has not been confirmed since Yuji SuzukiDirector of the first season, passed away in October 2021.

Eden zero

The anime adaptation premiered in the season of in Japan Spring 2021 (April-June) and had a total of twenty-five episodes. On the other hand, Mashima publishes the manga in the magazine Weekly Shōnen Magazine

from the publisher Kodansha since June 2018. The work also inspires two video games developed by konamithe former being described as a 3D action RPG for consoles and the latter as a smartphone RPG.

Eden's Zero synopsis

All his life Shiki was surrounded by machines. Set in the Granbell Kingdom, a long-abandoned amusement park, it's the only one of its kind in existence. That is, until Rebecca Bluegarden and her feline companion Happy arrive, unaware that they are Granbell's first visitors in a hundred years. Their goal is to make funny videos for their B-Cube channel, but what they find is a friend in the socially awkward Shiki.

When Granbell becomes too dangerous for the three, they embark on an adventure through the Sakura cosmos. They hope to make more interesting videos and even find the elusive Mother Goddess, while Shiki wants to make more friends prompted by his late grandfather's words. Of course, the journey won't be easy as no one has seen Mother yet, but Shiki is determined to reach his goal and explore the limitless frontiers of space together with his new friends.
