Gohan’s highest moment in Dragon Ball Z is reserved for the Cell saga when Goku, confident in his strategies, decided to withdraw from the fight in favor of his son. A choice judged evil, but proved fitting and deadly for the evil villain at the end of the carnival.
Since then, however, the young warrior has ended up at least a little on the sidelines of the narrative, until TOEI Animation brought him back into fashion with DB Super: Super Hero, in which he even gave him an unprecedented transformation. In fact, the last film was credited precisely for bringing back the son of Son Goku after a long time.
Last time like this gohan was so appreciated that it can be traced back to the Cell Saga, especially during the tournament when The Saiyan managed to transform into Super Saiyan 2 in anger and to defeat the opponent. In this context, the artist fur type has created fan art that reimagines Gohan SSJ2 as an adult with his race’s classic attire, similar to Vegeta’s but with a design much more consistent with that of the Cell Saga.
And you instead, what do you think of this illustration, this interpretation of Goku’s son? As usual, please let us know with a comment below.
