The Japanese pop industry has been producing strong brands since the 1960s and is still, in one way or another, an integral part of culture around the world today. Between video games, anime and manga and more, the fantasy of the rising sun is ever-present. Dragon Ball and Final Fantasy are two franchises of this type.
On the one hand, we have the story that was written and drawn by Akira Toriyama, but that’s it now become a global icon and for this reason it will also continue with the help of other screenwriters in both comic and animation format; On the other side is the Square Enix project is considered the swan song of society which, however, in the face of great success, allowed the video game house to survive and repeat this JRPG universe.
What would happen if someone merged Dragon Ball and Final Fantasy? A fan thought to prepare some illustrations where Future Gohan and Trunks enter the Final Fantasy universe. Pyroodawly posted a fan art on Twitter featuring the two half Saiyans, available below in both full and draft versions with the individual characters.
A definitely original interpretation, like the one where Trunks became a knight of the zodiac, or the one where Gohan and Trunks merged.
