A few weeks ago, the official Dragon Ball site gave a name to the Ultra Instinct that Goku is going against gas the nickname ‘True Ultra Instinct‘. This is a different power-up than when it first appeared Jiren for it differs in a single, albeit important, detail.
Contrary to what some users think, this is actually the real canon name of the technique, which is precisely distinguished by the presence of emotions that ours can use to its advantage. The official website actually stated: “Just as Gas was about to take down Vegeta, Goku appeared and rescued him before unleashing Ultra Instinct in his black-haired state. Applies his emotions to Ultra Instinct, Goku unlocked the True Ultra Instinct. This power surpasses Gas, the strongest warrior in the universe, and knocks him down with a single blow.“
