Time flies in the world of Dragon Ball too. We’re used to seeing adult characters like Goku and Vegeta over and over again, but around them there’s a universe that moves, that ages. Despite the very tight timeline of Dragon Ball Super, there is continuous evolution as the characters ages.
Next up is the movie Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, which is positioned chronologically after the end of Dragon Ball Z, or at least on par with it. Everyone gets old and Piccolo is no exception. How old will the Namek be in the film?
Born in 753, he met Goku at the Tenkaichi tournament when he was only three years old in 756. From then on there has been continuous growth and then a consolidation in the current physique. At the end of Dragon Ball Z, then at the last Tenkaichi tournament where the group met Uub, the Namek was 31 years old. Certainly not of advanced age, but that seems to be the first signs of time.
Considering that Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero plays at least in the year of the Tenkaichi tournament or shortly thereafter, Piccolo is between 31 and 33 years old. In the next feature, Piccolo will have a new design that appears to be aging him.
