Goku trained hard during Dragon Ball and learned to make the most of the techniques and transformations he had achieved. First the Kamehameha, then the Super Saiyan with his developments, while we arrived at the divine in Dragon Ball Super and finally to Ultra Instinct, the amazing technique of angels.
After unlocking the imperfect Ultra Instinct, he struggled to activate the perfect under command, but with the impetus from Merus’ sacrifice, he also managed to reach that level. However, as Whis pointed out in the new Dragon Ball Super story arc, this Ultra Instinct also has different degrees of perfection. There won’t be any stages of transformation like Super Saiyan, but in the meantime Goku admitted his limitations and incapacity in the use of the divine technique as opposed to the natural of its kind.
During the battle with Granolah, Goku showed that he was able to defeat a clone of his opponent, inevitably with less strength than the original. However, they are it only took a few seconds to get much of the accuracy and precision of the Ultra Instinct. to loseso much so that it only took the original Granolah one shot to knock out the Dragon Ball Super protagonist.
If Goku gets out of this battle alive, we will no doubt see a refinement of this power that in all likelihood will not show any aesthetic changes. It is now Vegeta’s turn to demonstrate the results of his training.
