The Cerelean Survival Saga had already made it clear that it wanted to leave on behalf of the Saiyans. Vegeta’s training with Beerus had raised several questions about the Saiyan race, their origins, and the truth of their power. now in Dragon Ball Super we discover a new side of this line now almost gone.
Seeking revenge on the Saiyajins for destroying the planet Cereal, Granolah has started a long battle with Goku and Vegeta. The Cerelean has proven to be superior in the various chapters of Dragon Ball Super. defeat both Goku Ultra Instinct and Vegeta Ultra Ego. The two seemed to have very few weapons to fight back and the end of Dragon Ball Super 76 was a sad outcome for the protagonists. Monaito blocked the clash, however: The Namekkian, who was present on Cereal after seeing Goku and noticing his resemblance to his parents, Granolah warned that a Saiyan named Baddack had saved them.
Baddack was also the one who built the church where Granolah and her mother were shaken, also recognizable in the form of oozaru thanks to the scar on her face. The presence of the now-dead Saiyan in this saga was already confirmed by the first look back and now we will know more about the attack on the planet that took place decades earlier. Baddack may have felt sorry for the sight of a helpless mother and child and so destroyed part of the building, which gave the impression of having finished his work, and instead left an escape route for the two of them.
Will that be enough to get Granolah to quit?
