One of the strengths of Dragonball Heroes Spin-off series created to promote the video game of the same name is the presence of alternate versions of characters that we met during the original series. The freedom of the authors led to the creation of Xeno Cell, a new version of the Android unknown to many fans.

The first official appearance of Cell X comes from the MMORPG Dragon Ball Online, where he presented himself as a bio-android created by the Time Breakers, monstrous looking, with four legs and very similar to a giant spider. Years later, this concept would have been revived and modified in the second saga of the manga Super Dragon Ball Heroes – Mission in the Dark Demonic World.

Introduced as one of many antagonists that Cell comes in contact with the two-star Dark Sphere, which attracts both Vegeta and Trunks and Putine and Gravy, who are interested in taking over the artifact. Xeno cell appears very similar to the perfect form but with lighter eyes, almost electric yellow, and with the orb embedded in the chest, making it much more powerful than its original series counterpart. Putine and Gravy’s arrival unwittingly ends up saving Xeno Cell from Vegeta’s rage.

Faced with Cell’s inferiority to the Saiyans and willingness to protect the Sphere, Putine decides to use her demon god powers to transform the android. A plan that turns out to be a failure in every respect. The new, gigantic shape is called Cell dark evolution it has four legs and thorns covering the body, very similar to the monstrous form introduced in the online game. A development too powerful even for Gravy and beyond Putin’s control. This forces Vegeks, the fusion of Vegeta and Trunks’ xeno universe via the Potara earrings, and Gravy to team up Destroy the android.
