The debut of the Chainsaw Man anime was outstanding, but now fans are eagerly awaiting the second part of the adaptation. A few hours after debuting on the Crunchyroll streaming schedule, we discover the first official information about it Chainsaw Man 1×02.

In the first episode of Chainsaw Man, viewers got to know each other Denji and Pochita, an unlucky boy and his pup, the Chainsaw Devil. The protagonist has a huge debt from his late father on his shoulders and to pay it back he performs all sorts of duties including devil hunter. Despite being a nice guy who was always willing to follow orders, he was betrayed by his boss. His death resulted in his being resurrected as a chainsaw man, meaning he was born of the covenant and pact signed between Denji and Pochita.

Episode 2 of Chainsaw Man is titled “Arrival in Tokyo,” a name reminiscent of that of the third chapter of the manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto. In this episode, after making an agreement with Makima, Denji is taken to Tokyo, where he will discover a very different life than the one he had before.

After a first episode mainly focused on the characters of Denji and Pochita and only the ending on Makima, in the next episode we will meet other protagonists like Aki. Chainsaw Man 1×02 will be released on October 18th in simulcast streaming on Crunchyroll.
