The 40th anniversary of Dragon Ball is fast approaching with the launch of a couple of interesting celebratory projects, the latest of which is a one-on-one tournament that will allow the community of enthusiasts to vote for strongest warrior in the fictional universe of Akira Toriyama.

Said official Dragon Ball tournament is called “Secret Battle Hour”. Specifically, it is one Survey conducted via social media which juxtaposes two characters from the work. The votes with the most votes advance to the next stages of the competition up to the grand finale where the strongest and most popular Z-Warrior will be determined.

The two most accredited names snagging the “strongest” crown are obvious Goku and Vegeta, the two great protagonists of the franchise, but absent from the final chapters of Dragon Ball Super to make room for their children. Surprisingly, the two will not compete for the final.

The Dragon Ball Secret Battle Hour I have anticipated the times and among the various encounters of the second round of the tournament there is the clash between Goku and Vegeta. The Saiyan Prince has been defeated by his eternal rival several times, but Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero has changed that. In the newest film of the franchise, soon to be adapted from the manga series, Vegeta defeated Goku for the first time.

In any case, the prince triumphed again, this time thanks to the intervention of the fans. Goku was defeated by Vegetawhich then moves on to the next stages of the official Dragon Ball tournament.
