While Dragon Ball is approaching its 40th anniversary, the Dragon Ball Super Gallery project is half done. Starring appointment number 21 of Dragon Ball's 40th anniversary celebrations is Boichi, the artist behind the manga series Dr. STONE.

To pay homage to Toriyama and his father Manga of Modern Battle Shonen, Shueisha has organized a significant project, for which each month one of the artists on the Japanese publisher's list interprets one of the artists 42 Dragon Ball covers. In February 2023, when the cover of Dragon Ball 22 was redesigned by Posuka Demizu of The Promised Neverland, a great illustrator attended the March appointment.

While fans are excited by the announcement of a Dragon Ball web anime in 2023, Boichi from Dr. STONE participates in the Dragon Ball Super Gallery Project Drawing the cover of volume 26 of the manga.

In contrast to other colleagues, who followed Toriyama's style after his sketches, Boichi completely changed the cover of Volume 26 of Dragon Ball. If in the original version we see Goku flying with the golden cloud, in the version retouched by Boichi we see a completely different scene. The booklet, in which the fight against Frieza takes place, shows the protagonists of the saga on Namek on the cover, but drawn in the style of Dr. STONE.
