On the official website for the anime adaptation of the written manga Riichiro inagaki by and illustrated by Boichi, Dr. StoneA new promo video has been released for season two, also known as the Dr. Stone: Stone Wars. It was also announced that the series will premiere on January 14, 2021 on Japanese TV channels as well as various streaming services worldwide.
A new image for the series was also revealed.
Inagaki and Boichi started publishing the manga in the magazine Weekly shonen jump from the publisher Shueisha in March 2017.

Synopsis of Dr. Stone
One fateful day, all of humanity was petrified by a blinding flash of light. After several millennia, the Taiju student wakes up and finds himself in a world full of statues. You are not alone, however; Your science-loving friend has been working for a few months and has a big plan in mind: Kick-start civilization with the power of science!
