dr Stone marked the return of Riichiro Inagaki, former author of Eyeshield 21, performed with Yusuke Murata, on Weekly Shonen Jump. At the same time, it was the debut of a non-Japanese author in the famous in-house magazine Shueisha, where Boichi was the first Korean to draw there. After five years this story is over.
It had been a few months since Dr. Stone’s latest story arc had been announced. After Senku and the others discovered the identity of Why-man, or the series’ infamous final villain, it was clear that by the end of Inagaki and Boichi’s story, it was missing no more than a few more chapters.
With the leaks of the next issue of Weekly Shonen Jump, further confirmations will arrive in this regard. At this number dr Stone celebrates five years and announces the upcoming peak. Along with the colored opening page of this issue, it is announced that in #14 of the magazine, the chapter of which will be published in MangaPlus on Sunday, March 6, 2022, dr Stone gets color pages in the middle and several extra pages for this highlight.
The word climax in Weekly Shonen Jump is always used to describe the end of a story and its almost immediate conclusion. This means that dr Stone’s final chapter could be 232.
dr STONE peaks next week in Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #14. The series will receive a color page and a page enlargement in the same issue.
