On Christmas Eve, an always happy and content big cat arrives on Netflix. In fact, the streaming giant recently announced in late December that Doraemon – The Movie 2 will end up in his catalog.
From December 24th, 2021 on Netflix streaming service comes Doraemon – The Movie 2, also known as Doraemon Stand By Me 2. The movie, made with a very modern 3DCG graphics, is a continuation of the chapter published in 2014. To celebrate its upcoming release in the Netflix catalog, a giant billboard from Doraemon has appeared on the Roppongi Hills Metro Hat.
Directed by Takashi Yamazaki and Ryuichi Yagi, Doraemon – The Film 2 is based on two precise stories from theAuthor Fujiko F. Fujio, and deepens Nobita’s relationship with his grandmother and Shizuka, the friend he has always been in love with.
At the end of the events of the first film, the bespectacled protagonist managed to improve his future so that he would marry Shizuka. In a moment of desperation, however, Nobita decides Go back in time to see his beloved grandmother who, very happily, reveals her last wish: to meet his bride. Meanwhile, the Nobita of the future, just as he was about to get married, escapes into the past for meet Doraemon. Is he really the right one for the beautiful and intelligent Shizuka?
