On the official page for the animated franchise from Doraemon It has been announced that the series will celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the debut of the original manga from Fujiko F. Fujio next September 5th with an animated special with three episodes.

The singer Gen Hoshino, featuring the anime's current opening theme, will appear during the special, showing his favorite episode from the anime, which aired in 1973 and is titled "Ultra Mixer." In fact, a remake of this episode will air during the event.

On the other side the violinist Chisako Takashima He will also appear during the event to talk about his favorite episode. In this case it is the 2005 episode, "The Mood-Changing Orchestra". This episode will be re-aired during the event, with the orchestral section re-recording as it had a remake back in 2015.

On the other hand, the story "Nobita no Kyouryuu (Nobitas Dinosaurier)" from the original manga will once again inspire a new anime adaptation, this time in the form of a new episode that will air on September 5th.
