Death report is one of the cult manga of the early 2000s. Written by Tsugumi Oba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata, Death Note appeared in Japanese magazines 18 years ago. The rest is history: over 30 million copies sold, a very successful anime that is still valued by all spin-offs today.
The rivalry between the protagonists Light Yagami and Detective L is definitely what made all fans madly love Death Note. From free will to the ability to kill criminals to make the world a better place, the food for thought provided by Oba and Obata’s manga is diverse and always topical.
In Honduras, he was elected to encourage young people to vote in the November 28th elections Light Yagami from Death Note as a testimonial. The Facebook page “Democratic Observatory Juventud Honduras“posted a picture of Light holding the Death Note with the word”Elecciones Honduras“. Always in the picture, next to the young man is the inscription”The power is in your hands. Vote on November 28th!“.
The post was accompanied by the message “If you don’t choose others decide for you, and there will be no point in complaining if you can’t find work or opportunities“. Honduras is the Latin American country with the lowest support for democracy of all time, and therefore election campaigns will certainly need a little more to get citizens to vote. The initiative seems to have paid off with votes. Total number reached 2.7 million, much higher than 2017.
Light Yagami therefore seems to have impressed many citizens of Honduras. Who knows that this should not increase sales of the new manga by Takeshi Obata, the artist of Death Note, in the Latin American country.
