Royal Mail, the most important British postal service since 1516, has the arrival of a special stamp set with heroes and villains from DC Comics. The set in question, the third after those dedicated to Star Trek and Marvel heroes, will be available across the UK on September 17th, and contains 18 stamps designed by Jim Cheung and Laura Martin.

You can check out the official illustrations below, Preview of the Daily Mail. Among the hero protagonists, Batman, Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Aquaman and Cyberorg stand out, while among the villains are Joker, Harley Quinn, the penguin and the Riddler. In short, a complete collection available on the official website at a price of £ 10.50 (around € 12.50).

"Over time, we realize how important it was for us to read the adventures of these superheroes and villains"said Royal Mail representative Matt Parkers,"These illustrations show each of these characters so vividly and nostalgically that it's almost like jumping off the stamp!". A beautiful homage to DC characters in a historic time when comics and cinema comics are increasingly becoming the focus of attention.

And what do you think? You like them? Let us know in the comments! Still on the DC Comics theme, we remind you that November will be the month dedicated to Robin with two new comics dedicated to Batman's shoulder and a number of Stargirls may be announced soon.
