Studio Trigger has released a new promotional video of via Netflix’s official YouTube channel Cyberpunk Edgerunnerthe long-awaited anime series based on the cult video game developed by the Polish software house CD Projekt RED.
New details are coming to Cyberpunk Edgerunners, the anime in ten episodes which brings viewers back to Night City, the futuristic city obsessed with technology and modifications of the human body. In this standalone parallel story, we will follow the adventures of a street kid who, while trying to survive, becomes an Edgerunner, a mercenary also known as Cyberpunk.
Available in the Netflix streaming catalog from September, Cyberpunk Edgerunner’s promo video allows us to meet some new characters including Lucy, Rebecca, David, Maine, Dorio, Pilar and Kiwi. The above protagonists are voiced by Aoi Yuki, Tomoyo Kurosawa, KENN, Hiroki Touchi, Michiko Kaiden, Wataru Takagi, and Takako Honda, respectively.
The anime is a collaborative effort between CD Project RED and Studio trigger.
