Chainsaw Man’s debut was memorable, a confirmation of the very high expectations fans had in ‘Adaptation of the manga of the same name by Tatsuki Fujimoto. Especially the last part of the first episode inspires the community.
In Chainsaw Man 1×01 we discover the sad story of Denji, a poor and lonely boy who works as a laborer devil hunter alongside his Chainsaw Devil Pochita. One day, while trying to repay the debt inherited from his father, he is betrayed and killed by the man he works for. On the brink of death, his bloodlust and broken dreams drive him to sign a Pact with Pochita and to be reborn as Chainsaw Man.
After killing the zombies who tried to kill him, Denji falls to the ground, exhausted. He is joined shortly after by a mysterious woman tasked with eradicating the zombie devil. The woman makes sure Denji isn’t possessed by the devil and proposes another deal: die at that very moment or live as his slave. When Denji discovers that life as a slave is rewarded with a hearty breakfast, he doesn’t think twice and accepts. A hug between the two seals it Relationship between Makima and Denji.
