After announcing two new Captain America series, Marvel Comics has revealed the first details on Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty and Captain America: Symbol of Truth. Three pieces of information revealed, we discover that Sam Wilson will wield a whole new shield in the series dedicated to him.

The creative team behind Captain America: Symbol of Truth consists of screenwriter Tochi Onyebuchi and artist RB Silva. The main protagonist of the cover of the first issue, by Silva, is Sam Wilson’s new shield, which we can admire in detail.

For Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty, Marvel Comics’ selected screenwriters are Collin Kelly and Jackson Lanzing, while Carmen Carnero will oversee the art. It was The cover of Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty #1 has also been revealed, by Carnero, which we feature in the gallery below.

Regarding Sentinel of Liberty, Kelly says so The series will touch on current issues: “We have witnessed a radical change in our country and especially among many young people there is this feeling of anger and disappointment at what our country has started to do to itself.
