On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga, written and illustrated by Shou Harusono, Sasaki to Miyano (Sasaki and miyano) a new promotional image was published for the project. The press release confirmed that the premiere date is still scheduled for January 2022 in Japan.
The editorial office Kadokawa lists the manga with the category “BL“which is colloquially an abbreviation of”Boy love (yaoi)“means in this case”Boy life“. Harusono has previously indicated that the term”BL“Is a combination of”BL“(In the usual definition of”Guys love“) and “Nichijou”(counts of life). However, Harusono lists his own manga in Pixiv in the category “BL“Contradicts himself.
Harusono began publishing the manga independently through the website Pixiv in 2016. The publisher Kadokawa published the sixth anthology in March 2020, followed by the seventh in November 2020 in Japan. The piece also inspired a novel by Kotoko Hachijou. In addition to this, the series also inspired a spin-off manga written and illustrated by the same author called Hirano to Kagiura.
