Just as Masashi Kishimoto’s pivotal work showed Naruto at various stages of his development, most likely including from infant to father of a family Boruto: Next generations it will be characterized by the same process. But what might the protagonist look like in adulthood?
Boruto’s protagonist is currently around 13 years old, which is little more than a child. However, we could already admire him Teenage Character Design thanks to the initial flash forward where we see him more mature and with a scar on his eye. And in adulthood?
Imagining a now-adult Boruto, it is Vinicius Dias, an animator of the animated series who provided his services for the realization of the tenth prelude and several episodes. In the artist’s imagination, Boruto is still widely recognizable by his forelock, but it is now longer and thicker. This is how his hair looks, sloping down in the front part while being divided into several angular curls in the back part are somewhat reminiscent of those of his teacher Sasuke Uchiha.
The Seventh Hokage’s son wears a cloak and apparently has an injured eye. L’expression on his face, does not bode well. The era of the shinobi has indeed come to an end. However, this is how Boruto’s fans imagined Sarada growing up.
