The theme of Sun and moon ran throughout Masashi Kishimoto’s original work, and the Japanese author continues this theme in the sequel. Is there yet another clash between light and dark hidden in Boruto’s plans for 2022?
From Hagoromo and Hamura to Hashura and Indra to Hashirama and Madara and Naruto and Sasuke, the entire story of the ninja world created by Kishimoto is shaped eternal struggle between sun and moon. History repeats itself in Boruto too. It’s a clash of dark and light on the cover of the latest issue of V-Jump.
In the pages of the monthly magazine Shueisha, there is a dramatic turn of events in chapter 66 of Boruto, but it’s the cover that captured the public’s attention. It, you see Boruto and Kawaki come face to faceand the more observant have noticed a striking resemblance to an old artwork by Kishimoto depicting Naruto and Sasuke in the same, identical pose.
It is clear that V-Jump wanted Compare the new generation with the olda, showing the similarity between the rivalry between Boruto and Kawaki and that between Naruto and Sasuke. But which of the two boys represents the sun and which the moon in this new case? At the moment, the Seventh Hokage’s legitimate son plays the role of the villain, but the Nanadaime’s protΓ©gΓ© turns into a monster himself.
