In episode 180 of Boruto: Naruto the Next Generations, the foundation was laid for the start of the new storyline, which introduces Kawaki and the other members of the Kara organization the era of the third Hokage in an exciting look back at Mugino’s past. Konohamaru’s grandfather defeats his pursuers and frees Mugino from the curse by hugging him and asking for forgiveness for the children to come exploited as disposable weapons.
