The leaf village of Boruto: Naruto the next generations it is very different from what we learned about in Kishimoto’s work. Indeed, after long struggles, the Seventh Hokage ushered in an era of peace. Mugino takes us to find out what the ninja world was like before its rise.
In episode 180 of Boruto: Naruto the Next Generations, the foundation was laid for the start of the new storyline, which introduces Kawaki and the other members of the Kara organization the era of the third Hokage in an exciting look back at Mugino’s past. This episode offers a deeper look into the personality of Konohamaru’s most trusted shoulder and shows how different he is from what we’ve seen so far.
As he himself said, Mugino lost his parents when he was a child and was kidnapped and forced to become a murderer. Hiruzen Sarutobi was sent on a mission to eliminate the third Hokage. He foiled the attack and found that the young man was being held hostage by a dark jutsu. Konohamaru’s grandfather defeats his pursuers and frees Mugino from the curse by hugging him and asking for forgiveness for the children to come exploited as disposable weapons.
Thanks to this story, Mugino is a great friend of Konohamaruas well as one of the best ninja of the leaf. What do you think of this story that never appeared in the manga? Let’s find out why Himawari’s gift is so important to Boruto. First details on Boruto’s Kashin Koji and Akita Inuzuka have been revealed.
Mugino’s backstory was beautifully structured. Indeed, wartime children were victims of such assassinations who were told to kill someone in order to save their own life. I’m glad the anime highlighted this. pic.twitter.com/BbFPuLz2YY
