The latest events from Boruto: Naruto the next generations were a series of extraordinary twists, the last of which in chapter 66 seems to open the doors to a turning point. But what does the future of the protagonists look like and, above all, what will their trump cards be?
In the final tables of the chapter, Boruto and Kawaki actually make a drastic decision to significantly interrupt Momoshiki’s awakening. Through a brief visual comparison between the two, the protagonist’s friend stabs the Hokage’s son with one blow that he falls to the ground, seemingly lifeless.
However, the chapter in question highlighted an interesting element. With the death of Isshiki and the Awakening of karma on Kawaki thanks to Amado’s experiments, it seems that the ninja is now free to use the Ohtsutsuki clan member’s abilities and eye techniques at will, which actually made Naruto’s protege extremely powerful. In the wake of his friend, and given that Boruto will somehow survive Kawaki’s blow, it’s reasonable to expect that even the protagonist might be able to control Momoshiki’s powers from that moment on. After all, even during the 3-year time skip, Boruto could easily use the Karma’s abilities.
