Boruto: Naruto the Next Generation has reached an important turning point. The Naruto sequel saw the defeat of Isshiki Otsutsuki, which freed Kawaki from the bondage of karma. But the boy is still in danger, as is Boruto as both young men are putting them on Courtesies from Code and Ada, the new enemies.

These two launched their attack thanks to Kawaki’s stubbornness, resulting in Boruto’s transformation and an unexpected alliance between Code and Borushiki. The ensuing fight forced Kawaki to awaken Karma. the Spoilers from Boruto 66 say what happens from now on.

First off, the chapter begins on V-Jump with a cover available below featuring Kawaki and Boruto defiantly confronting each other. And most of the next chapter focuses on the two. Kawaki starts bumping into Borushiki in a chapter entitled “Kill or Die”. At one point, Boruto temporarily manages to regain control, and while his left eye opens, he asks Kawaki to kill him, calling him brother.

While apologizing to Naruto, Himawari, and Hinata, Boruto is willing to accept death to prevent Momoshiki from fully awakening, which Kawaki understands and launches an attack that pierces Boruto’s abdomen. In the finale of Chapter 66 of Boruto, the protagonist falls on the ground and dies.
