Episode 287 of Boruto began the adaptation of the saga of Code’s attack. More than a year after Isshiki’s defeat, Studio Pierrot’s animated series picks up the story at this point. L’Last of the Kara organization inherited the will of the Ootstusuki with the aim of destroying Konoha and the ninja world.
In Boruto 287 Kawaki revealed Code’s powers. The last survivor of the Kara has a white karma, i.e. a karma that was not suitable to act as a vessel for Isshiki but still contained all the powers of an otstsuki. With the goal of feeding on the fruits of the chakra tree, Code will make an attempt on the lives of those who killed Isshiki.
Code is more powerful than jigen, but out of loyalty to his master, he decided to limit his powers. Now that Isshiki is dead, his first goal is to find new allies and harness his full power. To complete his mission, Code snuck into one of Boros secret buildings, where he found Bug and brought Eida back to life.
Eligible Captive Slaves, Boruto episode 288 will air on February 19, 2023, adapting chapter 57 of the manga. In this episode, the mysterious and feared powers possessed by Eida come to light.
Code will ponder the reasons he failed to kill Eida, whose Eyes seem to hide immense power. In addition to the ability to know everything, the girl seems to be hiding another ability. Meanwhile, Boruto, Sarada, and Kawaki will join forces to form a team capable of defending Konoha and defeating Code. Here is a preview of Boruto 289.
