After taking viewers back in time with an episode dedicated to fighting the sword, in episode 232 of Boruto, viewers instead jump into the future. This new appointment of the anime series, in fact, focuses purely on technology and beyond scientific progress of ninja world.
If in the previous episode we followed the adventures of Team 15, this time it’s Team 5’s turn, consisting of Captain Denki Kaminarimon, the only chunin of the trio, Metal Lee and Iwabei. The boys are chosen for one by Naruto and Shikamaru Rank B, the most complex mission ever received.
Summoned directly by scientist Katasuke, Team 5 has the intricate task of carrying some new generation of self-propelled marionettes to a laboratory in the land of water. The team was tasked with this task because Denki has a keen intelligence and has repeatedly proven himself to be the best in the field when it comes to technology.
However, Denki is overly excited and nervous about it being his first official assignment as captain his friends. In order not to disappoint the high expectations of his companions, the scientist and the Hokage, he takes on an enormous responsibility.
Arriving in the land of water, Denki shows that he has improved his physical abilities, even if he is not yet at the level of the two strong friends. However, if you use a controller to manipulate the moving puppets, shows all his sanity, and get the job done in no time.
However, the mission suddenly degenerates. Rebel ninjas set a trap for the group and take possession of the gold extracted from the mine. Locked in a “cage”, Denki solves the situation again and creates a passage to the outside and catch criminals, also thanks to the contribution of Iwabei and Metal Lee. Soon in Boruto 233, Kawaki will collect his prize: Konoha’s cover will be his.
