The second mini original anime story sheet by Boruto: Naruto the next generations focuses entirely on the character of Kawaki and on his way to becoming a real shinobi. The Seventh Hokage’s protégé, however, does not seem to be able to follow the path of the ninja, although he wants to follow the example of his source of inspiration.
Kawaki is playing his last chance to officially become one Genin of the leaf village. Flanked by Shikadai Nara and Chocho Akimichi, the boy has the task of escorting a boy who is transporting valuable property to his village. However, as with his previous missions, it turns out to be a failure even before it even begins.
Due to the harassment of Jigen and the Kara organization, Kawaki sucks, arrogant and doesn’t seem interested in the mission. When Shikadai ponders the purpose of her trip, the former owner of karma becomes don’t listen to him Least of all to make Mozuku break out on a rampage that they have to protect.
Kawaki’s stance is just a facade, however. When he notices that Mozuku has no food with him, he offers him one of his onigiri, which he in turn received from Chocho. Kawaki is a kind hearted boyand slowly he understands the meaning of the words friendship, trust and respect, terms that have never been taught to him.
However, in the final stages of Boruto 229, Kawaki does a very serious deed: he refuses to adopt the commands of his foreman. Chocho is injured and Shikadai forces the group to return to Konoha immediately. However, Mozuku requests that the mission continue, which is fundamental to the future of the Land of the Calm Sea. Kawaki realizes the boy’s reasons, refuses the order, and threatens Shikadai. Young Nara and Chocho must return to the leaf, but he and Mozuku will continue the mission.
The subject of refusal of order has already been analyzed in the past with the stories of Sakumo Hatake as well as Kakashi and Obito. Is Kawaki behaving right? We leave you up to the new pair of Boruto 229 and the Boruto 230 preview.
