Written and illustrated by the manga via the official Twitter account for the anime adaptation Kohei Horikoshi, Boku not a hero academy (also known as My hero academy) a new promo video has been released for the show's fifth season. In addition, it has been confirmed that the premiere of this new sequel is scheduled for March 27, 2021.

A new image for the anime was also released, with the A-1 grade.

Horikoshi started publishing the manga in the magazine Weekly shonen jump from the publisher Shueisha in July 2014. The publisher published the twenty-sixth compilation volume on March 4th and the twenty-seventh on July 3rd.
