On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga, written and illustrated by Aki Hamaji, Bocchi the Rock!it was announced that there will be a big special event on April 23, 2023 in Japan. The event will include the main voice, including Yoshino Aoyama like the voice of Hitori Gotou, saku mizuno as the voice of Ryou Yamada, Sayumi Suzushiro as the voice of Nijika Ijichi and Ikumi Hasegawa like the voice of Ikuyo Kita.

The project's first Blu-ray/DVD package, to be released in Japan on December 28, includes a Priority Pass for purchasing tickets to the event. Given the presence of the voice actors, better known as the Kessoku Band, fans can expect major announcements as the franchise progresses.

Synopsis for Bocchi the Rock!

Lonely and eager to mingle, Hitori "Bocchi" Gotou spends her time playing the guitar. One fateful day, Bocchi meets extroverted drummer Nijika Ijichi, who invites her to join the Kessoku band when their guitarist, Ikuyo Kita, runs away from their first concert. Shortly thereafter, Bocchi meets his newest partner, brilliant bassist Ryou Yamada.

Although their first performance together is mediocre, the girls are strengthened by their shared love of music, and they are soon rejoined by Kita. Finding happiness in performance, Bocchi and her classmates strive to improve as musicians while making the most of their fleeting high school days.
