The latest two-part part of Bleach: Thousand Years of Blood War concludes the events of the first cour of the final saga of Tite Kubo's work. Ichigo finally found out the truth about the blood running in his veins and how his mother died. The protagonist is therefore determined to return to Soul Society to get revenge on Yhwach.

In Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War 1x12, Ichigo learned of selections, the process by which Yhwach regained his powers 900 years after his rebirth and 90 years after regaining his intellect by stripping those of the Mixed Quincy, i.e. the Quincy who, unlike the real, were impure. Because of the king nearly conquering Soul Society, Ichigo and Uryu's mothers are dead and aware of him mixed ancestry between a Soul Reaper, a Quincy, and a Hollowthe deputy Shinigami intends to return to the world of souls in search of revenge.

in the thirteenth episode of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Ichigo is taken back to the Royal Palace. In the Hooden, Oetsu Nimaiya tests him again, but this time Ichigo manages to find his Asauchi. Nimaiya will therefore reforge his zanpakuto with the help of his assistants.

Meanwhile, the captains of the Gotei 13 in Soul Society are trying to train their best men to acquire the bankai. It will happen soon second invasion of the Star Knights and the soul reapers must be ready.

Back in the Hooden, Ichigo discovers another bitter truth. Due to the Quincy blood running through his veins, the being he believed to be Zangetsu is actually the incarnation of Yhwach from a thousand years ago. you he actually held Kurosaki back prevent him from reaching his full potential as a shinigami. Now that Zangetsu has been reforged and the Yhwach incarnation disappeared, Ichigo unleashed the true form of his zanpakutō. Zangetsu now consists of two swords, one denoting her Quincy powers and the other her Hollow powers.

Finally, the episode ends with a sensational cliffhanger. Haschwalth returns to King Yhwach's court with a new ally. Uryu Ishida is switched to the Quincy side in the war against Soul Society. Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War will return in 2023 with the debut of the anime's second session.
