The numerous cosplays dedicated to the protagonist of My Dress-up Darling confirm the great success that the Cloverworks series has had among fans of Japanese animation. The studio also announced a fun novelty that will be featured in the home video version of the show: the videos from the aforementioned series Marina is a big fan.
For the uninitiated, the manga is written and drawn by Shinichi Fukuda tells the story of Wakana Gojo, a little boy who dreams of becoming a Hina doll crafter like his grandfather. His life will change after he meets Marin, his popular classmate who is passionate about cosplay and adult video game and anime characters. It will be Marin who asks Gojo to help her create the costumes, an offer that the protagonist of My dress up favorite accepted, even if he doesn’t yet know the protagonists of Marin’s favorite works.
In a scene from the second episode, Gojo’s grandfather surprises him while watching a specific video that Marin recommended to him: in a tweet clover has therefore confirmed that the Blu-ray and DVD versions of the series will include a version of this video produced by the animation studio. The news was greeted with excitement by fans of the manga, who were curious to see what Gojo was watching.
