In addition to the discoveries regarding his parents’ first meeting and the fact that Masaki was a Quincy, Ichigo was actually capable of it Also find out why she was killed by a hollow. In reality, as Isshin explains to his son, Masaki would have been perfectly capable of countering the power of a hollow like Grand Fisher, but since she was stripped of her Quincy powers, she was defenseless during the fight.
Though Masaki still had the ability to use the veins of blood when Ichigo was just a kid, the woman he was then left without the ability due to the awakening of Yhwach, returning after a thousand years, decided to strip the subordinate Quincy of her powers. This is how Masaki died trying to protect his son from a hollow attack. A revelation that makes a new one very likely direct confrontation between Ichigo and Yhwach.
