L’The anime Black Clover has now been discontinued a long time ago. After dealing with the first invasion of the Kingdom of Spade, Studio Pierrot discontinued the episodes to allow mangaka Yuki Tabata to create other content for the story. However, this does not mean that production is at a standstill.
We look forward to hearing more details about the anime’s return to television in the future, Studio Pierrot is preparing Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King, the first anime film dedicated to the wizarding saga of the Kingdom of Clover. Asta and Yuno will return to fight more enemies specially prepared for the occasion by Yuki Tabata. The story of the Black Clover movie won’t be canon, but it will last long enough for all fans to enjoy anyway.
The film will also be available on Netflix and an update is coming from the platform thanks to a much more detailed profile of the film. According to recently entered data, Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King is a movie that will run for a total of 1 hour and 50 minutes. So almost two hours, several minutes longer than other anime films. There will therefore be plenty of room for Asta and Yuno’s scenic actions against the new enemies threatening the kingdom.
After an initial postponement that moved the film from the March 31, 2023 release date, Black became Clover: Sword of the Wizard King hits Japanese theaters and Netflix this summerspecifically in August. So there are only a few months left for the cinematic struggle of the boy who knows how to use antimagic in a wizarding world.
