Black Clover Anime will have an original character

In the combined issue No. 36 and 37 of the magazine Weekly shonen jump from the publisher Shueisha it was announced Daisuke Sakuma, a member of the band Snowmanwill play an original character on the series Black clover, called Makusa.

The band plays the current opening theme of the anime titled "Stories" while the South Korean group TOMORROW X TOGETHER will play the next opening song entitled "Eien ni Hikare". This new song will appear in the next episode on September 1st.

The anime has been on the air since October 2017 and was originally announced with only 51 episodes. The manga written and illustrated by Yuuki Tabata began to be published in the magazine Weekly shonen jump from the publisher Shueisha in February 2015. The publisher published the twenty-third compilation volume on January 23.

Production team

  • Tatsuya Yoshihara (Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou, Yoru not a Yatterman, Namiuchigiwa no Muromi-san, Long riders!) directs the anime in Studio Pierrot.
  • Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka?, Tantei Opera Milky Holmes, Yoru not a Yatterman) is responsible for the composition of the series.
  • Itsuko Takeda (Ristorante Paradiso, Level E., Blue drop) is the character designer and Kumiko Tokunaga (second season of kingdom) is the sub-character designer.
  • Minako Seki (Gin no Guardian, kingdom) composes the soundtrack.

Black clover synopsis

In a world full of magic, two children, Asta and Yuno, are abandoned in a church on the same day. While Yuno grows up with immense strength, Asta dreams of becoming the greatest magician of all time. However, he seems to be the only one on earth who lacks magical power.
