The synopsis of Batman: Urban Legends #14 published by DC Comics suggests the arrival of a new cast of Birds of Prey, the team of female superheroes at the center of a live-action adaptation in 2020 (here's our review of Birds of Prey). Apparently, the new team is led by Lady Shiva and Katana.
The team of Birds of Prey first debuted in 1996 on the pages of Showcase '96 #3. One way or another, the team has always seen the presence of characters like Black Canary, Oracle, and Slayer.
Instead, the new formation of the Birds of Prey is put together Lady Shiva, Katana, Miracle Molly and Ghost. Lady Shiva's entry into the team is told in the "One Year Later" storyline, while Katana has been part of the Birds of Prey since the beginning of the New 52 relaunch. Miracle Molly and Ghost are two relatively new characters that have not previously existed, had strong ties to the team.
The arrival of this new Birds of Prey list could be tied to the announcement of the death of the Justice League. The main team of DC Super Heroes also includes Black Canary, Heroine Who Character in the current line-up of Birds of Prey and that he will probably lose his life soon.
Batman: Urban Legends #14, written by Ryan Cady, Mark Russell, Vita Ayala, and Che Grayson and illustrated by Cam Smith, Trevor Scott, Belen Ortega, Nikola Cizmesija, and Karl Mostert, will be released in the United States on April 14, 2022. Below the cover of the register, edited by Karl Mostert.
