The influence of berserk on From Software’s titles is evident. From Dark Souls to Bloodborne to the more recent Elden Ring, they all contain references to Gatsu’s dramatic storyline, and one fan of the series decided to give some of the games’ characters a cartoonish style before delving into the Black Warrior.

Artist mustakro.art, also known as Cup Souls, likes to represent bosses, non-player characters and monsters that are present in everyone the titles created by Hidetaka Miyazaki and his team, with a style strongly reminiscent of the little gem of Canadian studios MDHR or Cuphead. Given the constant requests for also represent GatsuMoving away from the Souls landscape, the user finally decided to give the fans the beautiful illustration that you can see below.

Represented with the usual grim and worried look that Cuphead style Gatsu certainly appears less detailed than Miura’s original, but certainly with some well-chosen details, such as the veins and angularity of the berserker armor, the mechanical arm and the inevitable dragon slayer, which is even more similar to the gigantic iron block description that the master Miura uses she featured in the manga. As always, let us know what you think of the fanart in the comments.

Finally, remember that the berserk manga is on pause and coming back with Chapter 368 on August 12, 2022.
