In the last published volume in the series Batman Beyond The origins of Terry McGinnis, the Dark Knight of the Future, have changed, and as with other characters, the creator of those changes was the superhero Booster Gold, which writer Dan Juergens wanted to attach importance to on several occasions.

In the last published volume McGinnis was attacked by the futuristic version of Bruce Wayne, but Booster Gold appeared in the Batcave to help the protagonist change what happened and suggested going back in time to avoid his younger brother being killed by Wayne. One day, however, he discovered at home that his father, Warren McGinnis, had been killed by the same Jokerz who had been on his trail for some time for telling the authorities about some of the illegals at the company he worked for.

After Warren’s death, Bruce Wayne found some notes from Terry’s father that also showed the moment he was saved by Batman. during the attack of the villain known as Blanque that took place in 2020. However, there was one thing that didn’t quite fit Wayne: the fact that the Batman depicted had Terry’s costume, which hadn’t been invented that year. To make sure it was a time travel back then, Bruce went into the future with the help of Booster Gold.

Only then will we find out that Bruce’s anger and Matt McGinnis’ death were part of it a huge farce organized by Wayneand another version of Booster Gold to make this possible. Recall that important details about the Future State Batman were revealed and we are leaving you at an amazing Batman statue in the city of Burbank.
