Along with the long-awaited dark web crossover event coming in November 2022, the publisher Marvel Comics announced a new miniseries scheduled for the same month. Avengers: Murderworld will see the Avengers confront the assassin world ruled by the sadistic villain named Arcade.
The screenwriter Jim Zubknown for his contribution to the Conan the Barbarian series and special books dedicated to the Dungeons & Dragons universe and the artist Ray Fawkes have put together a five-volume series that makes the arcade menace more concrete than ever. That world of assassinscreated by the antagonist, is an extremely dangerous setting full of deadly traps and will be the scene of important events and revelations involving the Avengers.
After the first volume, which will be a general introduction and presentation of the location and arrival of the Avengers there, each subsequent issue will contain some of these One-shot stories dedicated to Spider-Man, Wolverine, Moon Knight and Black Widow, which seems to have some unfinished business with Arcade. Readers experience the events from the perspective of Paul Pastor, an inquisitive young documentary filmmaker who will follow the Avengers as they go insane game orchestrated by arcade.
Below is the cover of the first volume signed by Paco Medina, featuring Captain America, Iron Man and Thor ready for battle.
