The anime of attack on Titan is finally back with the first episode of the third part of the last season, an hour-long episode showing the viewpoints of all the forces involved in the final, devastating battle to stop the rumble, the march of the giants Colossal, about the Marley Nation.
The first part of the episode begins with the chapter “rumbling‘ and first shows Eren and Mikasa as children on the day their lives were forever changed by the appearance of the colossal giant and the arrival of the other giants. The second chapter begins, “sinner“. En route to Fort Salta, the remaining members of the army try to support each other, remembering all the blood that was shed and focusing on stopping the Rumbling advance. Imagining how they would feel in Eren’s place, everyone but Onyankopon, who is driving the plane, is brought to the path and tries to communicate with the protagonist, who certainly reveals that he has no intention of stopping.
Eren wants freedom and has no intention of depriving his companions of anything; Therefore, in order to do this, he must gain freedom by force and eradicate the world. While the Marleyans try to escapein the nation’s skies, many airships set out to attack the giants, attempting to stop them with bombing raids while realizing the mistakes of the past: without the captivity of Ymir’s descendants on Paradis, this war would never have happened.
Shrouded in smoke from the explosive barrels hitting the Giants, the protagonists, who had traveled by plane, tumble onto the battlefield. Meanwhile, Armin and Mikasa approach the monstrous Eren Levi is determined to face Zeke again, transformed into the beast giant. The combined efforts of Marley’s forces and the Rumbling Reconnaissance Army begin the war between heaven and earth.
