By title"thawing', Episode 4x22 opens with the destruction of the walls and the beginning of the cataclysm known as the Rumbling, showing Gabi's shocked expression and the surprised reactions of Mikasa, Armin and the others in the research corps to Eren's words. Young Braun returns Falco has been shot, only to find his body disappearing and to meet his cousin Reiner, tired from fighting Jaeger and sad at not being able to stop him. Affected by the words of the soldier Gabi, she decides to take action again.
