- Episode 72: “Children of the Forest”
director Yuichiro Hayashi: “Probably the my favorite of the final season. If I read this moment in the manga, it’s me was struck by Kaya’s emotions and their immediate development. I designed the scene where Kaya is crying when she is held in her arms so that she is crying and screaming with all her emotions like a little child.”
- Episode 73: “Savagery”
The animation director Hiroko Komatsu: “In episode 73 is the scene where Eren tells Mikasa that “he hates her” is very effective. I tried to draw it as accurately and heartily as possible since it is a very important scene in the story. When I drew this scene, I remembered the three of them in their childhood. And the words they exchanged in front of me seemed like a lie, and natural I felt tears welling up in my eyes. Since I was responsible for drawing this heartbreaking scene, I made sure to draw a smiling face for the illustration that was released after the episode aired (laughs).”
- Episode 74: “The Only Salvation”
The director Mitsu Yamazaki: “When Grisha pushes Zeke and he screams hysterically, thatThe voice actors’ interpretation was very strong and powerful. I also paid close attention to their facial expressions. What have I learned so far? I think he has a very positive face. The final scene of Zeke blowing himself up off the Thunder Lance was Directed by Takahiko Abiru, and I was very excited to work on it because it was as fantastic as the drama of this story. I’m personally a bit sad that Zeke, who was such a good and sweet little boy growing up, has become such a tough guy after reaching adulthood…”
- Episode 75: “Up and Down”
director Yuichiro Hayashi: “The Armin’s fake tears in the dungeon are the best. The more serious the scene, the more cynical the laughter that is the essence of Attack On Titan. Finally, Reiner appears as a hero. So look forward to part 2!”
