Aria: The Twilight, the new anime feature film linked to Kozue Amano’s “Aria” series, will debut on March 5, 2021 as reported in the new official trailer shown above. The guys from JC Staff recently opened the presale and even showed a wonderful key visual that also revealed a preview of the song “Happiness” by Kiyono Yasuno.

First of all, for those unfamiliar with the work, keep in mind that Aria is an anime series that airs from the first half of the 2000s and consists of three seasons. Aria: The animation, The natural is The genesis. This new project was unveiled about six months ago to celebrate the fifteenth anniversary of the series, and it will allow us to reunite with Akari and the other Undine.

Remember, the series is set on the planet Mars in 2301 and was renamed “Water” after the ice melted. Water is therefore a human-inhabited planet where fifteen-year-old Akari Mizunashi, a young country dweller who recently moved, undertakes to learn the craft of Undine, the gondolier who acts as a tour guide in the city of Neo Venice. On the poster below you can take a look at the new design of the protagonist and the companions.

JC Staff, the production studio, has great faith in the project, and Demon Slayer showed that people are absolutely not afraid to go to the movies. The risk of flop is always around the corner, but Amano’s streak is popular in Japan, so expectations remain high.
