Synopsis from ARIA
The story takes place in the 21st century in the city of Neo-Venezia on the planet Aqua. This planet was formerly Mars, which was renamed after it became a habitable planet that was almost entirely covered by the oceans. Neo-Venezia is a port city with canals instead of streets crossed by gondolas.
