On the official Twitter account for the animated adaptation of light novels by Asato Asato and illustrated by Shirabi, 86: Eighty-sixTo commemorate the airing of the sixth episode in the series, two illustrations have been split. The first illustration was made by Shirabi, the artist of the original light novels.
The second illustration was made by Otsuji (お つ じ)who participated in the animation direction of the episode.
The series has aired in Japan since April 10 and has not yet announced the number of episodes, although it is confirmed that it will air on two separate arcs. For his part, Asato Asato started publishing the light novels on the publishing house label in April 2017 Dengeki Bunko of Kadokawa. Shirabi ((Musaigen is not a phantom world) and the artist I-IV ((Aldnoah.Zero, Re: Creator) were responsible for the pictures.

Synopsis for 86: Eighty-six
The Republic of the Holy Magnolia. This country has long been besieged by its neighbor, the Giadian Empire, which created a series of unmanned drones called the Legion. After years of careful research, the republic finally developed its own autonomous drones and turned the one-sided struggle into a casual war – or at least so the government claims.
In truth there is no such thing as a bloodless war. Behind the walls protecting the republic’s eighty-five territories is the “nonexistent” “eighty-six sector”. The young men and women of this deserted land are branded “The Eighty-Six” and, deprived of their humanity, lead the “unmanned” weapons into battle … Shinn directs a detachment of eighty-six youths on the battlefield. Lena is a “manipulator” who, with the help of a special communication, commands the detachment from the far rear. The farewell story of the difficult and sad struggle between these two begins!
